ABBA may be coming out of retirement to fill the 50 London O2 Arena dates left vacant by Michael Jackson's recent death. The promoters of Michael Jackson's comeback shows, AEG, have offered the Swedish four-piece pop sensations a multi-million dollar deal to fill the empty dates. ABBA dominated the pop charts from their first hits in 1973 until their break-up a decade later, which was blamed on personal differences between band members. Those differences are still viewed as one of the main obstacles to the group taking up the residency. |
