Editors have revealed that their third studio album will be released later this year.
‘In This Light And On This Evening’ has a September 21 release date and is the band’s follow up to 2007’s number one album ‘The End Has A Start’.
Frontman Tom Smith said the album was heavily influenced by London: “I actually think it’s in every song.” Smith said. ”In the right time and place, in the right light and on the right evening, something you have seen a thousand times before can still take your breath away.”
Editors play a hometown gig in Birmingham on September 10 then head out on a tour of the UK and Ireland throughout October. The 15-date tour will begin in Belfast on October 7 and finish up in Southampton on October 26. Check out SeeTickets or Ticketmaster for tickets.
