Operatic pop group Il Divo have entered the UK Charts in the number one spot. Their sixth album release, 'The Promise', beat Stereophonics' 'Best Of - Decade in the Sun' to the top position and knocked Girls Aloud's 'Out of Control' down to third place.
Other new entries to the top 10 album charts include Enya with 'And Winter Came', which went in at number six, and Christina Aguilera snuck in to round out the 10 with her latest release 'Keeps Gettin' Better - A Decade Of Hits'.
In the singles, X Factor Finalists 2008 retained the number one position with 'Hero', Killers entered the charts at number four with 'Human' and 'Live Your Life' by Ti featuring Rihanna jumped 37 places to number two, displacing Beyonce's 'If I Were a Boy' down one spot. |
