Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has put recent rumours regarding surplus material and new albums to rest, confirming they will release an EP in December. During an interview on BBC 6 Music with R.E.M.'s Michael Stipe, Martin revealed that the EP will be called Prospects March and will be out at Christmas. He also said the band would release an album in December 2009 "...to end the decade...". Martin cleared up the "Coldplay have enough surplus material from their Viva La Vida recording sessions for another full album" rumours by stating they have already recorded the songs for the EP but not for the album. |
