Songs penned on tour

Arctic Monkeys have written their third album whilst being on tour throughout the year. They now plan to record it over one weekend!

Drummer Matt Helders told the Daily Star: "We had a power cut on the bus and while we were parked at the side of the road I got this acoustic guitar out.

"Some people were still in bed but we did this song for about six minutes about Jeremy Kyle. About this lie detector test."

Commenting on the plan to record the album over one weekend, bassist Nick O'Malley added: We're thinking of calling it One Wacky Weekend."
