After the poor excuse for summer that the past few years have provided us in the UK, we didn't quite believe all the hype about the predicted scorcher this year. But summer is apprently here and it's set to be a hot one (if you believe the papers). We've already had a weekend or two where the temperature has climbed high enough to result in a plethora of lobster-esque people walking the streets after a weekend in the park.
Sunburn, charcoaled sausages and bikinis in the park at lunchtime all epitomise summer. But what we want to know is what tunes feel like summer to you. Whether it's ones that take you back to your childhood with memories of school holidays, or the latest releases that you feel encapsulate that hard-to-describe summer feeling.
Opinions have been divided among the luvmuzik team, with everything from the obvious Beach Boys, to Saint Etienne and even Papa Roach. Here's just a small selection of our sounds of summer:
