No Substitute Love

WELL, whatever has happened to our Estelle? I do believe she's gone all sexy. Not that there’s anything wrong with that – to paraphrase the late James Brown, sister got a brand new bag, and if No Substitute Love is anything to go by, it’ll be your bag too.
Its fusion of reggae and pop is nothing new, but the way Estelle weaves her story through these two unlikely songs is masterful. While her peers languish in da club, No Substitute Love recalls, if anything, the clinches in corners of Lovers’ Rock. Oh Happy Day indeed. 8/10
