Northerners still have the opportunity to catch indie-blues-rockers Gomez on their 10th Anniversary 'Bring It On' UK tour.

The Southport five-piece will perform their entire Mercury Prize-winning album 'Bring It On' at Newcastle's Carling Academy (among other venues) this Sunday, 10 years after its release.

The highly anticipated series of gigs gets underway in Sheffield on Thursday (August 28) and there are a total of seven dates (see details below).

'Bring It On' beat acclaimed albums such as Pulp's 'This Is Hardcore', The Verve's 'Urban Hymns' and 'Mezzanine' from Massive Attack to take out the coveted Mercury Music Prize in 1998.

The 10th Anniversary edition of 'Bring It On' was released this week and features a second disc with previously unreleased material from BBC sessions plus B-sides from the album's singles.
