The Datsuns

Kiwi rockers The Datsuns are back in the northern hemisphere after a trip to their homeland to perform at the Auckland leg of the Big Day Out festival. Warming up with a few gigs in Ireland/Northern Ireland, they should be in fine form for their first England show at Liverpool's legendary Barfly.

Getting back on stage, where they most enjoy being, the four-piece have promised a loud, noisy, animated and sweaty live performance. Having stated they love the rawness of a live show and the interaction with the audience, combined with the furious intensity of the majority of their tracks, a memorable gig is guaranteed. Just one warning - frontman Dolf de Borst gets rather excited so if you're close to the stage, be prepared to be splattered with his sweat.

The set-list will undoubtedly be dominated by tracks from their latest record 'Headstunts' (an anagram of The Datsuns), as well as classics such as 'Mother F***er From Hell' from their critically acclaimed self-titled debut album and peppered with songs from second release 'Outta Sight, Outta Mind' and 2006's 'Smoke & Mirrors'.

Fans can catch The Datsuns in other parts of the country during their 10-date tour of England, before they head off to Europe.
